Fortuna is represented here as a transformative bird. The bird holds the sweet berries or fortune in her beak and the blood tipped thorns of misfortune in her claws. What will transform you? In my experience it's the thorns that transform in a meaningful way.
This piece a limited addition of 20 and is approx. 11x 14 inches. Its hand burnished on Velin BFK Rives paper.
